I entered the Sisters of Notre Dame in 1959. During the exciting years of Vatican II, I earned a Master’s Degree in Theology from Seattle University, which prepared me for a career where I was privileged to live and teach with many outstanding SND women for twenty-two joy-filled years. During my sabbatical year, my path led me to this “monastery on the hill!” The joy of living with a community filled with wisdom, care and compassion while constantly growing and living what we have envisioned together knows no bounds. I am grateful beyond words for the friendship of the sisters; our lived contemplative life, and all those wonderful friends who are part of our extended community. As we move into the future, I hope to always make room for the Spirit and what is emerging, for things not yet imagined, for the continued care of our earth and all creatures, for beauty and for Peace.
