I grew up in Korea near the ocean. The ocean was like a garden embracing my home with beauty. This relationship with nature formed a deep desire within me to study art.
After finishing my Master’s degree in Fine Art in Korea, I moved to San Francisco where I obtained a second Master’s degree in Fine Art. During this time, I discovered that the beauty of nature that made my heart beat was the light of Jesus. This awakened my journey of faith, which my father had planted in me from my childhood, and eventually led me to the Carmel of Reno in 2004. Here, I offer the fruit of my life; my prayer, my artwork and the song that lives in my heart to God.
